Athletic Trainer

LANDON BENTZ (AT, ATC)

Landon has been a certified athletic trainer since 2018. He spent his first year at Newark High School, with the next six years working at Big Walnut Middle School. Last year he served across the Olentangy high schools assisting with additional athletic training room hours and practice/event coverage.

Landon is a 2004 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School. After graduation, he spent over nine years in the Marine Corps ending his service in 2014. Landon went back to college where he obtained his Associate of Science degree from Columbus State (2015), and then his Bachelors degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology (2018).

In his free time, Landon enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, staying active, volunteering at church, and watching sports - particularly Ohio State football, the Columbus Bluejackets, and the PGA.
