Transitioning to Middle School

To assist all incoming fifth graders with "need to know scheduling information" as well as Eversole-specific details for transitioning to Middle School, we have created this Eversole 5th to 6th grade webpage.

Please take time as a family to review the information provided on events, how to schedule your classes and how to select a music class.

We are so excited to have you join our school this fall as a Golden Eagle! Welcome to Eversole Run!

Welcome to Eversole Run Middle School

Dear 5th Grade Families,

On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to officially welcome you to Eversole Run Middle School! We are thrilled to have you join our community and begin your journey as an Eversole Run Eagle.

Transitions are a significant milestone, and it is completely natural for both students and parents to feel a mix of anticipation and nerves. The move from elementary to middle school marks a period of incredible growth. While the adolescent years bring new challenges, our goal is to ensure this transition is filled with more excitement and joy than uncertainty. At Eversole Run, we are committed to supporting your student as they find their wings.

Our school culture is built on the foundation of SOAR. These core values guide our students to excellence in everything they do:

  • Service-Minded

  • Ownership
  • Acceptance
  • Respect

By embracing these principles, our Eagles create a positive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

All important "need to know scheduling information, as well as Everosle Run-specific details for transitioning to middle school, can be found on this page.

Please take time as a family to review the information about events, scheduling your classes, and selecting a music class.

We are so excited to see your student SOAR at Eversole Run!

Yours in learning,
Mrs. Rita Shaffer, Eversole Run Middle School Principal
